Started in 2007, Obsidian is a casual 25 man raiding guild. We do not require members to raid. We raid between 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm (server time is West Coast) mostly 7 days a week. We are currently running Icecrown Citadel in 10 and 25 man groups (we have cleared the first wing in both, also have killed Rotface and Festergut in both 10 and 25). We will run ICC 25 Wednesday-Friday. We may continue progression raiding of ICC 25 until Monday depending on how many are willing to come. We are looking for a handful of quality raiders willing to push progression content.

Obsidian functions both as a progression raid guild as well as a friendly, casual playing enviornment. We include brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, children, close friends, and new faces for our group of raiders and guild participants. Raiding with us is always optional and not a requirement to be in our guild. This is what makes us different than most raiding guilds. While many of our guild members as individuals might be ranked very high on the realm; we don't pretend to be perfect, we don't pretend to have all the answers, and we don't really need to brag about anything we do in game to others outside of our guild. So please follow our lead and be humble while you are in this guild. Trust us, no one cares if you are ranked #4 on the realm for your class, but they will care if you treat people like a jerk because of it.

We are in fact a raiding guild first and foremost, so we expect members that do participate in raids to understand our rules, times, expectations, and policies. If we fit your style of play and what you want from this game, we are currently accepting applications. The list to the left shows how many raid spots are available for certain classes and specs. Please note: even if a class is listed as closed, we will still consider your application. If you are geared, have significant raid experience, and are more skilled than others on our current roster we will invite you to our guild, and give you an opportunity to work your way up to the top. Expect competetion. You will have to carry your own weight to raid here. Your performance and committment will be rewarded by gaining promotions and getting invited to more raids.

The Applications, General Information, and Class Forums are accessable to the public. All but Member Forums are visible to the public. So if you want to contribute to forums here you are welcome to do so.
